Larry Irwin founded AMC Safety in 1993. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy (Corpsman) during the Vietnam Era. Due to his experience, Larry found his passion of helping others in the safety and health field. After founding AMC Safety, he has conducted countless job site surveys and training sessions to make our clients and their jobs much safer. In 2004, Larry was named a member of the Cambridge Who's Who.

Sam Jankiewicz joined AMC Safety in February 2021. He graduated from the University of Tennessee of Chattanooga with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and environmental science and is currently working towards his masters degree in occupational safety and environmental management at Columbia Southern University. Having previous construction experience, Sam quickly found a passion for keeping construction workers safe in the field. He provides hands-on safety training and jobsite inspections for all of AMC Safety clients.

Gary Crawford officially joined AMC Safety in May of 2015. Prior to AMC Safety, Gary was owner of Crawford Masonry for 35 years. Gary then joined McIntosh Murphy Masonry as the on-site safety for masonry construction at Vanderbilt University. At this time, Gary teamed up with AMC Safety to provide all safety requirements for this large construction project. As this project concluded, Gary then joined forces with AMC Safety with special emphasis in masonry construction and scaffold erection. He now provides hands on job site inspections and safety training for all AMC Safety clients.

Patrick Rodriguez Puente joined the AMC Safety team in August 2021. He is recently Honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. Patrick’s duties and responsibilities were as a Utility Mechanic-having other men working close with him in multi-hazardous areas. Patrick placed himself in charge of the Safety and Health of the entire crew. Once discharged Patrick begin working within a construction/manufacturing environment installing conveyor systems throughout the USA. He took it upon himself to perform self-study safety courses and completed the OSHA Construction ‘30’ Hour on-line course. Since this time, Patrick reached out to AMC Safety showing his interest and enthusiasm in the safety profession. Patrick has gone through the 6 week AMC Safety field inspection study, now is completing his 6 week actual field investigation and inspection requirements.

Patrick's interest and excitement toward safety is a welcome invite to AMC Safety.

Amanda West joined the AMC Safety team in January 2017 and is our Office Manager. At her previous employer, she was an assistant manager for over 6 years. She attended Vol State where she earned her degree in business and accounting. Amanda is extremely organized and ensures our clients receive all information in a timely manner. She handles accounting, drug screens and new hire orientations, job site reporting, safety consultant routing, month end client reporting as well as many other functions and duties.
